“Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart.”
ASCEND is not a conference in the traditional sense. It is a Prayer and Prophetic Gathering — two days set apart for intercession, for the prophetic word of the Lord, and for the people of God to return to the altar.
This is not built around a platform, a personality, or a performance. It is built around presence. Every part of ASCEND — the worship, the ministry, the prayer — exists to bring God’s people back to the place where hands are lifted and hearts are searched.
If you carry a burden for prayer, if you sense the Lord stirring something in you for intercession, or if you simply long to encounter Him again — ASCEND is for you.
There are moments in life when God speaks, and then there are moments when He places a burden on your heart that you simply cannot ignore.
Several months ago, while in prayer, the Lord began to place such a burden on my heart. It wasn’t an idea for another conference. It wasn’t another event to add to our calendar. It was a burden that has only grown stronger with time.
Every time I prayed, I found myself coming back to the same place. The Lord kept impressing one thing upon my heart:
Not for a personality.
Not for a platform.
Not for a performance.
But for My presence.
I couldn’t shake it.
The burden wasn’t simply to gather a crowd. It wasn’t even about hosting a conference. The burden was to see God’s people return to the altar—to return to prayer, to intimacy, to holiness, and to a genuine hunger for His presence.
As I continued to pray, I sensed the Lord calling for 1,000 intercessors to gather in one place. Not because the number itself is significant, but because every person represents someone responding to His invitation.
An invitation to ascend.
To step away from the noise.
To quiet every distraction.
To seek His face.
To hear His voice.
That is where ASCEND was born.
ASCEND is not something we created. It is something we are responding to. I believe God is calling His people back to the place where every true move of God begins: the altar.
My prayer is that this gathering is never remembered because of who was on the platform, how many people attended, or how well the event was executed. My prayer is that it is remembered because the presence of God met His people in a life-changing way.
If, as you’ve been reading this, you’ve sensed a longing for something deeper… if you’ve been hungry for more of God’s presence… if you’ve felt Him drawing you back to the place of prayer… then I don’t believe you’re here by accident.
I believe this is an invitation.
And I pray you’ll answer it.
